Information
In Johannes Wieland's guest choreography for the season opening, the guiding narrative of his choreographic exploration is time, the search for a way out to sabotage the controlling fabric of time.
Wieland's choreographies show an architecturally influenced understanding of body, mind, movement and space; in them he explores the human psyche. At the intersections between video, sound and text, he creates an abstract, visually powerful repertoire rich in metaphors, and the boundaries between the fields of acting and performance art become fluid.

you saw everything pass you by: your friends got married, they had children. but somehow you got stuck in a mental time loop - and it only assigned you an observer post. an outside post, not in the middle of it. and now you keep seeing things pass you by without really understanding them, but on the other hand: should your life now become one meditation embedded in an infinite silence seminar, so that you have enough time to understand everything? probably not.
another possibility would be to remember kant and hawking, einstein and nietzsche - because they might help you to find a way of escape. or should you, because of course that is also possible, just forget about time, initiate a new genesis and sit back and relax in your really very limited space? johannes wieland
